Dr. Keeling is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). He also holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Prosthodontics and is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP).
Dr. Francis Keeling
Dr. Francis Keeling is a board-certified periodontist who brings exceptional expertise in periodontal and implant care to Coastal Jaw Surgery. Raised in Dublin, Ireland, Dr. Keeling earned his dental degree from Trinity College Dublin before completing advanced training at University College London's Eastman Dental Institute. He then completed a residency in Periodontics, along with additional training in Prosthodontics, and earned a Master of Science at UT Health San Antonio.
As one of the few clinicians in North America with dual board certification in Periodontology and Prosthodontics, Dr. Keeling specializes in hard and soft tissue regeneration, periodontal reconstruction, and complex multidisciplinary implant care. He is the recipient of prestigious national honors, including the Dr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer Scholar Award for Excellence and the ACP John J. Sharry Research Competition.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Keeling is an avid sports enthusiast with a background in competitive sports. He is dedicated to providing patients with seamless, state-of-the-art periodontal and implant care that restores both function and confidence.
