Dr. George Schieder practices as a dual-degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, licensed as both a dentist and physician in the state of Florida. He specializes in core oral surgery procedures under anesthesia such as dental implants, dental extractions, soft tissue grafting, and bone grafting. His larger surgical interests include tumors and cysts of the jaws, obstructive sleep apnea surgery (maxillomandibular advancement), jaw-repositioning surgery (orthognathic surgery), facial trauma, and TMJ disease.

Dr. Schieder grew up outside of Atlantic City, but now calls Tampa Bay home after a long educational path through North Carolina, New Jersey, and Ohio. Dr. Schieder enjoys Bayshore Boulevard, salsa dancing, Lightning games, Clearwater beach, and spending long weekends in Miami with his extended family.
