Before we can perform the Same Day Teeth® procedure, it will be necessary to address any preexisting decay and periodontal disease. It may also be necessary to perform a dental bone graft if the jaw has begun to decay and can no longer support the implants. If these issues have been addressed, the Same Day Teeth® protocol begins with a 3D cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan, which will provide us with 3D images of your bone, nerve pathways, soft tissues, and teeth, which allows us to determine the optimal placement of your implants using the best digital assessment software and related state-of-the-art technology to ensure that your treatment is truly customized. Prior to placing the implant, a local anesthetic is administered, along with dental sedation to ensure you are comfortable throughout the procedure. Once you are sufficiently numbed, we will place the bar-supported, immediate-load, full-arch restoration, which has been milled from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) using computer images and impressions of your bite and designed to color-match your remaining natural teeth.
