Full Mouth Dental Implants Procedure

This procedure uses grafting material to rebuild the density of your jawbone, and typically takes around 3-6 months, after which you can resume the process of getting full mouth dental implants.
Once you are ready to begin the full mouth dental implant process, the first procedure will be placement of the titanium posts into your jawbone (usually 4 or 6). The reason these posts are made of titanium is because this material is able to fuse with your natural bone over time. This is a gradual process that can happen as quickly as three months or up to six months or longer depending on your body’s natural healing ability. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to speed up this process, it simply has to happen naturally. You will be given a set of temporary teeth to wear while you are completing this healing process. Once the posts have completed the osseointegration process, the abutments and crowns are placed and the procedure will be complete!
