Dental Implants with Low Monthly Payments

Dental Implants with Low Monthly Payments

At Coastal Jaw Surgery, we understand that the cost of receiving treatment is a concern for many of our patients, which is why we will do everything we can to accommodate your personal budget while still providing you with the highest quality care possible. We are also committed to being upfront and clear about what your anticipated costs for getting dental implants will be and working with your insurance provider (if applicable) to ensure that you maximize your benefits to the fullest!

There are several factors that will impact the total cost of your dental implants, such as how many implants are necessary, the location of your missing teeth, what type of dental implant is used, and whether you also require preliminary procedures, such as a sinus lift, bone graft, tooth extraction, or treatment of periodontal disease. To learn more about our clinics financing options and policies and determine whether or not dental implants are the right option for you, please refer to the following.

Insurance and Payment Options

At Coastal Jaw Surgery, we are committed to providing you with quality dental care and making your experience as smooth and easy as possible. This includes providing you with different payment options to ensure we help navigate your unique budgetary needs.

We accept traditional insurance and are happy to file insurance claims on your behalf, track filed claims, assist with insurance family plans, and help you maximize your benefits. To help facilitate the filing process, please bring your identification and insurance card with you to your appointment and provide your insurance information to our staff when you make an appointment.

If you do have dental insurance, it is important to be aware that you may still have to pay some portion of your bill, either to meet your deductibles or copay or if your plan does not cover a particular procedure. To help cover the cost of treatment, we may schedule one part of your treatment towards the end and beginning of the year when your benefits run out and renew.

While we are happy to provide assistance to patients with dental insurance, we also realize that nearly one in four Americans are without dental insurance and will have to pay for the procedure out of pocket. We also realize that not everyone is in a position to comfortably spend this type of money. In addition to accepting traditional insurance, we also offer (subject to approval) the following financing options (including 0% for 12 months!).

  • Carecredit® Healthcare Financing
  • GreenSky® Patient Financing
  • Lending Club Patient Financing

For your convenience, we also accept cash, debit cards, and most major credit cards (Mastercard, VISA, American Express, and Discover).

Keep the Benefits In Mind

If you are still concerned about the cost of having dental implants placed and are considering other treatment options like dentures or avoiding treatment all together, we strongly encourage you to keep in mind the following benefits you will enjoy once the dental implant process is complete:

  • Unlike traditional dentures, dental implants do not require special adhesive or need to be removed and cleaned each night.
  • They will also not slip out of place while you are talking or eating or cause sores to develop on your gums.
  • Dental implants are significantly stronger and more stable than other treatment options, which means you can enjoy the foods you once did again. Your nutrition will also improve because you are better able to chew the foods you eat.
  • Dental implants will give your jawbone the stimulation it needs to keep from atrophying.
  • Dental implants look, feel, and function just like your normal teeth, and can have a tremendous impact on one’s self-esteem
  • Dental implants are a long-lasting solution, provided you continue to follow good oral hygiene habits and schedule regular periodontal maintenance.

While we completely understand the financial considerations that come with having dental implants placed, it is important to remember that what you are really doing is investing in your physical and mental wellbeing and taking an important step to preserve and maintain your oral and physical health for years to come.

Additional Financing Options

While we will do everything we can to help work with your budget and provide you with the care you need, the following may also be viable paths towards covering the cost of your dental implant procedure:

Sub-Prime Lender Financing: Unlike standard loans, which require an individual’s credit score to be 640+, subprime lenders take a deeper look into your history and will consider factors such as income, assets, and employment history to evaluate whether you are a good candidate for a loan. While sub-prime loans can be an excellent option for some patients, they often have higher interest rates, which means you will spend more money over a period of time.

Secured or unsecured personal loan: Individuals who do not qualify for a prime or subprime loan may consider a secured or unsecured loan. A secured loan requires the individual provide collateral, usually in the form of a vehicle or real estate. Should the individual not be able to pay the loan off, this collateral can be repossessed by the lender, so it is important to be certain you make your monthly payments. Unsecured loans do not require collateral, which puts the lender at greater risk compared to a secured loan. As such, it is more difficult to qualify for an unsecured loan, but there is less personal risk in taking this type of loan if you do qualify.
