This past weekend, Dr. Kenneth L. Anderson attended Partners in Synergy: The Ultimate Graft Course: Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting for Optimal Implant Reconstruction. During this 3-day Master Course, Dr. Anderson was able to learn from two of the top clinicians in their field, Dr. Michael A. Pikos a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and Dr. Maurice A. Salama, a Periodontist at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes, Orlando.
If you’ve been a patient of Dr. Anderson’s then you know that his knowledge in oral surgery is extensive. He provides his patients with the best care because he is always willing to learn, even about procedures he already knows. Think about it, even if you are an expert in a field – do you know everything about that field? Every technique? That is why he continually attends continuing education courses across the United States. Bettering his skills, techniques, and procedures to ensure his patients have safe, reliable procedures.
We asked Dr. Anderson what he learned at this Master Course to help his patient’s on Monday. He said, “My take away from the course was that on Monday I will be able to introduce new bone and soft tissue grafting for dental implants. The key is being able to handle the complications of various current implant patients have and they can feel comfortable seeing me if they’re having questions or problems with current implants they had placed or need a new consultation.” Dr. Anderson also said, “As an OMS (oral and maxillofacial surgeon) I spent time on various soft tissue grafting techniques for dental implants with lab exercise with fresh frozen specimens. I already use many of these techniques in our practice but learned some new innovative ways to make the surgeries easier for my patients.”
We are proud that Dr. Anderson continues to learn new effective ways to better care for our patients!
