Dr. G. Thomas Peak is a native of Charleston, West Virginia. He is a graduate of Concord College in West Virginia and West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Peak completed his internship at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital and his residency at the National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his three-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Dr. Peak is a retired Commander of the United States Navy Dental Corps where he was the Department Head in Dental and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the Naval hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was also the Department Head at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, which involved training responsibilities for both military and civilian Oral and Maxillofacial and Otolaryngology residents.

Dr. Peak has extensive experience in implant dentistry, dentofacial pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, TMJ disorders and dentoalveolar surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
