Dr. Luis F. Rosario was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He attended Marquette University for his undergraduate studies and received his doctorate degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed his internship at Naval Dental Center, Great Lakes, Illinois and completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.
Dr. Rosario served in the United States Navy for over 15 years achieving the rank of Commander. He served as Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for the USS Carl Vinson Battle group deployed in the Western Pacific and head of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Naval Health Care, New England in Newport, Rhode Island. He deployed aboard hospital ship USNS Comfort in support of Hurricane Katrina humanitarian relief efforts. He has presented several lectures to the Newport County Dental Study Club in topics including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Oral and Maxillofacial Trauma and Head & Neck Pathology.
Dr. Rosario practices full scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with emphasis in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants and associated bone grafting, oral pathology, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial trauma. Dr. Rosario is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
