Our mission at Coastal Jaw Surgery Center for Implant Reconstruction is to provide excellent surgical care for our patient family in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner. Through teamwork and utilizing our God-given skills, including the most modern technology available, we strive to provide our patient’s with a comprehensive, seamless personal experience. Our desire is to improve our patient’s quality of life and promote the most important premise – We Care.
Coastal Jaw Surgery was founded by Dr. Michael A. Pikos in 1983. From day one, he has been dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care along with a genuine neighborly concern for his patients’ well being. It didn’t take long for West Florida area doctors to start referring their patients to him, particularly those who needed state-of-the-art dental implant surgery.
When it came time for Dr. Pikos to add partners and associates to his practice, he wanted highly trained oral surgeons who shared his commitment to exceptional care. He found this and more with Dr. G. Thomas Peak III, Dr. José F. Lázaro, Dr. David M. Owsley, and Dr. Michael S. Willis. This team of specialists has more than 100 years of experience and offers comprehensive capabilities, making Coastal Jaw Surgery a premier oral surgery practice. In addition, Drs. Pikos, Peak, Lázaro and Willis are Diplomates of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This means they have met and surpassed education, practice, examination, and ethical standards of excellence from the most respected board in their field. Dr Owsley is board eligible.
